GROUND WORKS ON LONG PIER FROM 10/06/26

All harbour users are to be aware that work to install lighting above the pontoon is starting from 10th June.

The work will involve groundwork to create channels for the electricity supply. The affected areas will be coned off and made safe. All effort will be made to avoid disruption.

Passengers queuing for trip boats should be advised to take care and, if necessary, queue from the middle pier towards the pontoon.

Harbour Safety

All mariners are reminded to operate within harbour speed limit of a maximum of 3 knots. All vessels must be respectful of other users and use minimum throttle necessary to stay alongside or when going astern.

There are also large numbers of pedestrians on the quaysides.  Drivers of vehicles, including the forklift, must operate slowly and safely.
