The Harbour runs a leisure slipway to launch and recover small pleasure craft on a daily basis from 08:30 to 17:00 between 1st April and 31st October each year.

Yachts and pleasure craft can berth as visitors in the outer Harbour for a small daily charge where diesel and water can be taken if required.

Launching of jetskis and personal watercraft and/or usage in Harbour is not permitted. 


Strictly no commercial usage of the slipway is allowed .

Slipway charges:

  • Daily charge of £30 for leisure craft (if multiple days then overnight berthing is not charged.
  • Commercial leisure craft to use outer harbour £1300 per annum (includes week end berth in outer Harbour).
  • Diesel (POA)
  • Water included in Harbour berthing charge.
Electricity included in Harbour berthing charge however to visiting craft a small charge will be applied.
Parking in Harbour Car Parking areas:
  • 1 hour £1
  • 2 hours £2
  • All day ( 10 hour period) £4.
