The Harbour runs a leisure slipway to launch and recover small pleasure craft on a daily basis from 08:00 to 17:00 between 1st April and 31st October each year.

Yachts and pleasure craft can berth as visitors in the outer Harbour for a small daily charge where diesel and water can be taken if required.

The launching of jetskis and personal watercraft and/or usage in Harbour and its precincts is not permitted. 


Strictly no commercial usage of the slipway is allowed.

Slipway charges:

  • Daily charge of £30 for leisure craft
  • Commercial leisure craft to use outer harbour £1,300 per annum (includes weekend berth in outer Harbour)
  • Diesel (POA)
  • Water included in Harbour berthing charge
Electricity included in Harbour berthing charge however to visiting craft a small charge will be applied.
